James Jaymal is a producer and DJ from Leeds, UK. His deep love of music and fascination with sound was cemented when he started attending the legendary Orbit nights in the city. This exposed him to some of the worlds best techno artists at time when fashion or commercialism in techno wasn’t an issue. He soon got himself some decks and began obsessing over vinyl and the art of djing, it wasn’t long before James began handing out mixes and getting gigs at underground nights across the Uk and beyond. Around this time he also began to experiment with his own productions and tracks which went on to influence his djing strengthening his sound. Fast forward to 2011 James is helping to set up and run the Resonance nights in Birmingham which ushered in a new underground spark to the city’s club life, seeing him play alongside a plethora of techno titans like Joton, Radial, Makaton, Voidloss and Dare&Haste to name just a few. James’s music can be found on a cluster of underground labels such as Lime Tree Records, Input Output Systems, Vision Division and now on Krank‘m’Haus’s recordings.
