Jam-2 aka Jamal Kirk is a Boston based DJ/Producer, purveyor of all things BASS! and founder of Operation Underground / Bostown Massive an events and production entity focused on the sounds of UK Garage and it's various subgenres , from 4x4, Bassline, UK Funky to early sublow ( aka pre-commercialized Dubstep) just to name a few. He's also a fan of House, Footwork, DnB , and other genres Jam-2 was an early member of the UK Garage DJ Collectives : Soul Champion Crew (w/ G Notorious, Senyo, Innana & DJ Elyte) and Darqsyde Productions and was instrumental in Boston's earliest Dubstep scene and its legendary local events: BASSIC (at Good Life) alongside DJ Dabu, C-Dubs, Damian Silva and DJ Pandai'a and Operation Underground dating back to 2004. Fast forward to 2019 and after a long hiatus, Jam-2 is making his way back into the DJ and nightlight community with a series of classic mixes (late spring), original productions and remixes scheduled to drop in the Winter later this year.
