Jai's love affair with electronic dance music began in 1997 when he stumbled across techno, trance, and the Melbourne underground rave scene. After purchasing his first pair of Technics SL1200 turntables the DJ spark was ignited and there was no turning back. Over the last two decades Jai has organised a number of underground club and rave events across Melbourne, as well as performing across South and North America, Asia, and beyond. His personal highlights include performing at Burning Man and The Rainbow Serpent Festival. In more recent times Jai has established himself within the ecstatic dance community in Australia, splitting his love for house and rave inspired techno with deeper, organic, tribal, and ethno sounds. As a self-described 'sonic shaman' this merging of two musical worlds is more than fitting. Jai's sets are always a meticulous journey, crafted and curated to uplift, inspire and transform. With over 20 years navigating the realms of house, techno, trance, breaks, and bass music, Jai has an incredibly deep knowledge of this art. He truly embodies the rich and deep history of underground electronica, keeping its spirit alive and burning brightly well into the future.
