After breaking into the scene in 2018, Jacob Tompkins soon built a taste for unique dance music, setting the framework for his journey to come. At 23, Jacob established his own record label, Credits Records which has helped showcase incredible & talented artists from all over the globe. The label’s aim is to now spotlight creatives in the industry, share their art as well as any & all culture relevant content that would otherwise be overshadowed. As for music, Jacob has held residencies in some of Australia’s finest electronic clubs, toured Australia twice proceeding separate releases with tastemaker label Refuge Recordings, as well as appear at major festivals. Now with releases on Australian powerhouse Label Sweat It Out, Refuge Recordings, You Do You Records, plus multiple releases via Credits Records, including their debut VA (Various Artists) Series, Jacob's catalogue is only growing deeper, and now looks to make an impact on the international scene also. Jacob has been both played & interviewed on Australia’s ABC Radio, + the UK’s prestigious BBC Radio 1, Germany’s Radio Electronica Jena, not to mention the list of global DJ’s playing his records in their sets. Commercially, Jacob works closely with Hermès + more recently for with Louis Vuitton for the launch of Pharrell Williams' new season launch.
