Jack was born in Edinburgh and was raised under a roof full of music, he says his roots began with an interest in breakdancing culture from America where he saw the passion and community that came from small groups of like minded people coming together to enjoy themselves. Jack saw the similarities of this scene within the Chicago house and Detroit techno movement, once the connection was made between all three of these scenes Jack had a strong basis of what he liked and knew what he wanted to go after. Although too young to experience any of these scenes in their roots he dived deep into all sorts of materials to learn about them and enjoyed learning and listening to stories from others while he chased anything similar still going on in his hometown of Edinburgh. As Jack grew up he surrounded himself in the party scene from a young age visiting illegal raves / free parties and as he got older moving into clubs. From visiting these spaces he was introduced to more music styles than ever where he found what he liked and didn't like. Jack soon started DJ'ing and found a drive and passion to show others the tracks that he had acquired. His sets consist of all sorts of obscure techno tracks blending between older and newer styles of dance music. There is no limits to tracks in the sets Jack plays as he likes to play with both turntables and cdj's to be sure that no tracks are missed. After spending time in techno parties Jack saw the importance of building energy throughout the night, this was especially noticed by himself in Berlin where DJ's are playing much longer sets which allowed them to show their true style and tell a story. These experiences showed him how beautiful music can be and made him want to let others experience this feeling through sets of his own.
