J.Rom is an emerging producer, event organizer, and DJ in Montreal’s vibrant electronic music scene. With roots in alternative rock as a musician and composer, he performed on numerous local stages before transitioning into electronic music. This shift allowed him to perfect a sensitivity to sound manipulation, enabling him to craft energetic and unpredictable atmospheres. Drawing influences from Electro, Techno, and Breakbeat, J.Rom approaches curation with a cohesive yet multidirectional perspective, seamlessly blending low-end-focused grooves, intricate rhythms, and experimental sound designs. Inspired by this musical diversity, J.Rom founded HALTE, a growing electronic music festival dedicated to celebrating the local underground culture.
