J-Lost was born in the wicked 90s and raised in a politically disrupted landscape of newly democratic Bulgaria, which gave her a rebellious character and love for the unconventional. On the road of self discovery she changed direction, location and occupation many times, but the one thing that remained a true constant was her love for the music. At an early stage of her life J-Lost got hooked by the pulsating rhythms of electronic music and she began her journey into sound exploration. She was conquering various local dancefloors in Bulgaria and all across Europe for a decade before she decided to step in behind the decks. J-Lost was cutting her teeth and collecting noise for the last 10 years and that is something you can instantly sense when you listen to her carefully crafted selection, covering a wide range between techno, acid house, breaks, electro, ebm, wave, downtempo and all their variations. She is driven by her constant curiosity, wild emotionality and the urge to break the rules - all factors to never be sure what to expect from the girl. Her mixes take unexpected twists and turns riding the groove on the road to some place, far away from reality. The beginning of 2020 saw her debut in the booth and her first release “Worship Your Goddess” for the label KOMPONENTI. She managed to get her name on the Wake Up Stran-Jah Artist roster. January 2021 marked the start of her monthly radio show Moody Mondays on Radio KOMPONENTI. J-Lost quickly has become one of the respected music ambassadors on our local scene. Watch out for this one.
