J. Hennessy’s genre defiant DJ sets seamlessly flow, drawing from house, techno, disco and boogie. Residencies at Sugar, Bank St Social and countless appearances across Adelaide’s club and festival scene have seen him supporting artists by the likes of Marcel Vogel, Mood II Swing and Chaos in The CBD, to name a few. He is the face behind nights such as Honey, a sexy disco party with no fixed address, and Four Four a monthly underground music event with carefully curated music and an unique atmosphere. Outside of the club J. Hennessy has had features from local radio station Fresh 92.7 and YEWTH Magazine and is also known for his work in putting on special underground parties all around South Australia.
