James has been playing piano for 10 years, producing music in Logic Pro for 5, developing his own unique musical style inspired by ambient, neoclassical, drone, electronica, IDM, Indie Folk, Jazz and modern classical music. Some of James's inspirations include Aphex Twin, Brian Eno, Grouper, Loon Vynehall, Massive Attack, Burial, Sophie, Gia Margaret, Bon Iver and more. James has amassed a fair number of streams on Spotify, currently being on 34,761 streams from his cover of Aphex Twins stunning track 'Stone In Focus'. James is one of the co-founders of currently a Liverpool based events company called 'Alinea Events' in which he performs and puts on different kind of events. So far they have been ambient meditation events with the first at The Bakery and the second at Smithdown Social Arts Hub. He currently is preparing for his next show at Commune for both another ambient meditation show as well as an ambient rave.
