Iván Salimbene a.k.a ivimusick has been actively involved in the Uruguayan electronic scene since 1997 with a tendency to impart dance culture. His passion for music, inline skating and design led him from the promotion and organization of events, web portals, articles in music fanzines and frequent radio appearances, to the coveted residency that every DJ seeks. The music that has influenced him is from Detroit for its experimental and emotional aspects, along with Chicago, Philadelphia, New York and Paris for disco, funk and house, but as a good music lover he carries a musical heritage that ranges from eclectic acid jazz, going through bossa nova, some pop, rock, new wave, downtempo, r&b and of course sampleadelic hip hop. Currently his sets are a recipe perfected by jazz and disco ingredients on a forceful base of house that are simmered with a bit of funk and soul; It is recommended to serve it hot and listen closely to the speakers to enjoy it better.
