Isaac Peces (A Coruña, Spain), is a DJ and record collector. His elegant and eclectic sets, revolve around black music, going through jazz, soul, funk, brazil, afrobeat, disco, boogie and electronic with groove. He has played during the last decade at festivals such as Womex, Jazzaldia or Noroeste, as well as more than a hundred clubs and venues outside and inside the country, including Brilliant Corners (London), Werkplaats (Amsterdam), Berlin Café (Madrid), Afrodisia (Granada), Artte (Barcelona), Primeiro Andar (Lisbon), Xtra Lrge (Valencia), La Caja Negra (Oviedo), Sala Niagara (Santander), Mogambo (Vigo), Sala Karma (Pontevedra), Superfly (Lugo), Embora (Santiago), etc. It is also resident at Galician bars such as Lautrec, Mardi Gras, Patachim, Portiño, Telefunken, Puticlú, Barbería, Moom57, Garufa or Soweto. He is responsible for Graham Club and 14! where he schedules concerts and DJs from the afro-american scene, and forms together with Jas Processor the collective Souldiggers. He is also editor of Acidjazzhispano page, and his mixtapes are published by labels and radios like Lovemonk or Sonideros (Rne3). He combines technique, versatility and love for vinyl, which makes him, despite his age, a regular on the Galician and national scene.
