Her multilingual and multicultural background has fostered in her a proclivity for language, as well as a profound fascination for different ways of living, perceiving and emoting. Poetry was her first love, followed by music and theatre. She turned to the decks during the pandemic and quickly gained recognition as one of the performers to watch in the Bay Area. Through DJing, Iris found her ideal vector for self expression; a fusion of all of her artistic inclinations. Her singing and filmmaking backgrounds also inform Iris’ ability to weave narratives through her music selections. Her sets span across genres, playing with light and darkness.
