Iris Santo is Toronto's rising talent and is making a name for herself in the underground scene. She was first exposed to electronic music at 19 and since then it became an obsession. Her curiosity lead her jet-setting to electronic music festivals all over North America and that’s when she realized her dream to DJ on a global stage. “I knew since I was 3, that I loved music and expressing myself creatively. I always had this nagging feeling that I’m supposed to be a performer. Then I discovered electronic music and it became my calling.” Determined to make her dream a reality, she bought a pair of turntables and learned the art of music creation and sound manipulation through vinyl, eventually converting to the digital experience. Her style is known to take you up and down, choosing tracks with interesting baselines, sonic effects, and ambient synths. "I love choosing tracks that juxtapose and trigger an emotional response. Especially tracks that you wouldn’t think of playing because it doesn’t have the obvious 4/4 beat. I try to keep things interesting" She made her international debut at Ultra Europe 2015. Since then, she has performed at Ultra Korea 2016, The BPM Festival 2017 and signed her first EP “Music On World Off” with french techno label “Unstuck Musik.” Her love for electronic music inspired her to move to Tel Aviv where her style of music is widely embraced.
