Coming from a contemporary art career, Irena turned to music and videography as her ultimate forms of self expression. Originally a printmaker and painter born in Africa, to Yugoslavian parents, Irena has been collaging cultures her whole life...electronic music became her medium to connect herself with a global community. She is currently DJ resident at Papaya Playa Project, music booker at Casa Jaguar in Tulum, Mexico...where she has been helping to shape the music scene for a few years. She owns Music and Social Impact label Xeri Collective with husband Jimeno.
