Born in Seoul, intoxxy epitomizes the queer underground spirit from Korea with his profound adoration for club music, while aspiring to break boundaries as a genre-defying selector and a community-focused organizer. As a DJ, intoxxy's invigorating and bass-heavy sets are designed to showcase a fluid infusion of his influences. From 90s eurobeat and techno sounds from Korea and Europe, to contemporary Jersey Club and Breakbeat, his sets are a testament to his eclectic approach. Also, intoxxy is active in expanding the queer underground scene in Tokyo, as well as venturing out to venues in Seoul, Saigon and more, supporting artists like Mykki Blanco, Jarreau Vandal, Full Crate, etc. As a producer, intoxxy regularly releases club-friendly, reconstructed remixes, blending K-pop or Hip-hop with Electro, Baile or House elements, while his original materials embrace a more mellow, queer-influenced approach. Since 2023, intoxxy has been hosting a monthly DJ mix on 'VISLA FM' in Seoul, featuring LGBT+ & underground artists in Japan as guest DJs, using it as base to promote queer talent across the globe and showcase his unwavering passion as a genre-bending selector. As a promoter, intoxxy spearheads FETCH, a queer underground music event that aims to introduce a diverse range of local and international talent to the vibrant LGBT+ scene in Tokyo, and also co-organizes Sophie Night, an event series that pays homage to the life and influential legacy of SOPHIE within the Tokyo scene.
