"Igor Starshinov is an electronic music composer from St. Petersburg, the author of a series of lectures on synthesizer music, an adherent of analog equipment and vintage synthesizers, a laureate of the Sergey Kuryokhin Festival (Electromechanics 2017), and a member of the post-punk band PLOHO A distinctive feature and uniqueness of his approach is that Igor never prepares his concerts, allowing himself to play his music "here and now". Interestingly, Igor never uses computers in his work, but instead uses analog equipment such as vintage synthesizers and drum machines to compose.
