HyperTech (D2/ Liquid Kitchen - Kanal 103) Dimitar Rizov aka HyperTech first started listening to drum'n'bass in 1998 and he immediately was attracted by the syncopated rhythm and the infectious bass lines, especially after the regular visits of the club `Racki I Tapani`, where drum`n`bass parties were organized. At the time he didn't know anything about electronic music, or DJing really, just had a demo version of PCDJ (a PC mixing program) and started messing around with beats that he found on the internet. At the end of 2000 he joint his forces with his mate DJ Inox and soon after that they organized several drum'n'bass parties in some smaller, but very influential clubs for the scene. In December 2002 he bought decks, started buying vinyls and got really involved into DJing. After countless hours spent practicing he was getting better and better which resulted with resident nights all over Skopje and Macedonia and soon gained his real place on the macedonian drum'n'bass scene. He shared the decks with artists, such as: Black Sun Empire (NL), DJ Storm (UK), Bid Bud (UK), Paul B (RU), Nookie (UK), Vicious Circle (UK), Technical Itch (UK), Drumsound (UK), Bungle (Brasil), SpectraSoul (UK), Blu Mar Ten (UK), June Miller (NL), Cause 4 Concern (UK), JFB (UK), General Midi (UK), Molecular Structures (UK/SR), Raggamuffin Whiteman (BEL), Cooh (BG) among others. He also played abroad in: Bosnia & Herzegovina (Sarajevo at the DnB Seminar), Romania (Bucharest at club Jukebox and at Synthplants Ekzit 2005 & 2006), Bulgaria (Sofia at HMSU Open Air Festival 2006, Broken Balkanz 2008 & 2011 and Varna at Breaktrue), Kosovo (Pristina at Spray Club & Oda Theatre) and Serbia (at 2004 Exit Festival in Novi Sad). In June 2004 along with Darko Stepic and few other friends formed a promoters / DJ organisation - D2. Shortly after that, the D2 collective had its first party with Paul B and after that followed gigs with DJ Storm, Raggamuffin Whiteman, Vicious Circle, Bungle, Black Sun Empire, SpectraSoul, Codex & Kontra, JFB, Big Bud, Nookie, June Miller, Drumsound, Blu Mar Ten, Cause 4 Concern etc. In April 2007 he significantly contributes in organizing Constructor – Urban Arts Festival, which had good feedback from the wider audience in Skopje and Macedonia. Starting from April 2003 he works as a radio DJ at Kanal 103, alongside Darko Stepic and Danko Dimoski hosts the first drum and bass radio show in Macedonia - "Tecna Kujna" [Liquid Kitchen] every Saturday from 8-10 PM [GMT+1]. HyperTech's style is subtle combination of future funk, solid groove, ambience, minimalism & experimentation. His future plan is to promote various drum'n'bass artists to the macedonian audience, spread his vibe on the dancefloors at home and abroad and maybe get into production.
