With his roots from the south Indian city of Bangalore, HYBE's musical journey started as part of a DJ trio called KASHER. The Kasher project focussed on progressive and melodic sounds with their releases aiming to bring out a positive sentiment. HYBE was a also drawn to a more deeper sound and began cultivating his reputation and craft through a number of gigs across Bangalore. After moving to Melbourne in 2018, he drew inspiration from the local sounds and worked on creating his own unique mixes. His work earned him sets at clubs like New Guernica, Lucky Coq, Storyville, 303 Sydney Road and Chasers Nightclub to name a few. He now co-hosts his own radio show on Kiss FM called the Weekend Chug.
