Starting off by spinning records at friends' homes, he quickly realized that his musical message had the potential to reach a wider audience. This realization led him to establish Secretum, a collective that organizes events in Madrid. It was through this platform that Hūgx secured his first official and local gig, performing at the inaugural event of the collective at Viso Social Club in Madrid on 25th of June 2022. Over the course of two years, Hūgx has traveled and immersed himself in diverse musical environments. He has had the opportunity to perform at remarkable locations, including the Atacama Desert in Chile, where he delivered an awe-inspiring closing performance.. In addition, he has played at the Tunnel in Pereira, Colombia, a venue that has previously received renowned artists such as Clara Cuvé, Patrick Mason, Anetha, and Ellen Allien. Most recently, Hūgx had the privilege of playing at Bassement Club in Madrid, a renowned venue that has hosted esteemed names in the electronic music scene including Kolsch, Anna, Kobosil, Mathame, and Laurent Garnier, among others. He also performed at other renowned clubs such as Sala El Sol in Madrid, a venue that has been hosting high-end events for over 50 years. As a DJ, Hūgx has garnered recognition in Madrid for his studio sessions recorded at Studio 97. These sessions, available on his YouTube channel, showcase diverse musical atmospheres that accentuate his unique vision of electronic music. Additionally, Hūgx shares his mixes on his SoundCloud channel, establishing a deeper connection with his audience. While Hūgx has been relatively quiet on the production front in the past two years, that is about to change. He has already been working on unreleased tracks in collaboration with talented artists such as Tal Fussman for melodic compositions, and with Dallaniel for trance and techno-infused tunes.
