Hugo Humblet
Biografía
Hugo Humblet is part of a new wave of techno artists pushing a distinct raw and hypnotic sound. With a focus on bleepy patterns, relentless grooves, and immersive textures, his productions and DJ sets dive deep into the darker, more cerebral side of techno. Drawing inspiration from the underground spirit of cities like Berlin and Brussels, his music channels a stripped-back intensity that captivates both the mind and the body.
His signature is hypnotic and bleep-led: cyclical phrasing, clipped percussion
and a sense of pressure that builds by design rather than by drop. Drawing on
the rigor of Berlin and the grit of Brussels, he engineers tracks and DJ sets that
feel both mental and muscular, minimal in form, high in tension, made for long-
form movement.
In a short time, Hugo’s work has caught the attention of key players in the scene, gaining support from artists such as Phil Berg, Alarico, Stephanie Sykes, JakoJako, Lacchesi, Justine Perry, Rill, Laure Croft, Red Rooms, Mython, Beau Didier, Obscure Shape, Paula Koski, ANNE, Felicie, Uberkikz, Hujus, Klaps, Herton, A.mo, and more.
