Originally from Baltimore, MD, @h0ppa is now based in a growing underground scene in Washington, D.C. With the mindset of “less is more”, Hoppa strives to captivate the dance floor with his innovative blend of groovy and hypnotic track selections. Hoppa draws inspiration from international legendary techno scenes of Berlin and Amsterdam as well as NYC, LA, and DC, where he immersed himself in the culture and sound. By being able to attend techno shows all over the world, lifelong influences are channeled into his musical vision - creating an atmosphere on the dance floor where people can close their eyes and get lost in the music. His biggest influences include renowned selectors like DVS1, Oscar Mulero, MARRØN, Rene Wise, Jeff Mills, and Altinbas. These artists have shaped his approach to mixing, guiding him in creating sets that resonate with both seasoned fans and newcomers alike.
