Hector Ávila, AKA‘HESSA’ has been a prominent figure in the electronic music scene for over 15 years. He began his artistic career in his native Ibiza as part of the very successful duo ‘2Vilas’. Through his vinyl sets, he has made waves as renowned DJ and is also a talented producer. Deeply involved in the electronic music community, he also co-founded the renowned record shop and record label ‘MTM Ibiza‘. Under his new alias HESSA, Hector is pushing the boundaries of his creativity as a producer. Having launched two new and exciting vinyl-only labels, ‘Get a Life‘ and ‘Cosmos’. 'Get a Life’ has already made its mark on the music scene having topped the charts and sold out globally. Hector’s DJ career is equally impressive. His sets have graced some of the most renowned clubs such as DC10, Amnesia, Space, Pacha, Pikes, Underground, Input Barcelona and many more. Beyond the shores of Ibiza, HESSA's music has reached audiences across Europe, South America, United States, and various countries in Asia. He has also played alongside renowned DJs such as Solomun, Luciano, Sven Vath, Chris Stussy, Traumer, Raresh, Priku and Tania Vulcano, to name a few. Through his new solo project, HESSA embarks on a journey that explores the various facets of House music; from Minimal House right through to Electro. With his unwavering dedication to the craft and an ever-expanding fan base, HESSA is well on his way to becoming a big name in the electronic music industry.
