For Ivo, the turning point of committing to music and DJing was his first visit to Berlin during the second half of the 2010s. During that journey, Ivo's passion for dancing was reinvigorated by the electronic beats of Techno and the sheer magnitude of the gatherings held within the city.   With an early background in music from folk dancing and choir singing, Ivo has never been shy to bust a move whenever he feels like it and is on a quest to share the same love and appreciation of music and dance through his perception of the link behind sound and movement. As a lover of all things melancholic, the core emphasis of his performance is on creating an atmosphere that everyone can relate to both physically and mentally with a goal of processing, resolving, or just forgetting and getting lost in the moment with the help of music and dance. Ivo does this by using familiar sounds that are invigorated with a fresh breath of electronic life as tools to guide the audience through the journey.   Having started DJ'ing in 2019, Ivo has been performing in most underground venues in Riga. Thus far the artist has already managed to share the stage with local legends and pioneers such as Taran & Lomov, Ze Ivarzz, and also has a few gigs under his belt closing after foreign artists such as Mark Broom & Nastia.     Currently, Ivo is mostly performing alongside his soul brother mOZ. Together they perform energetic b2b mixes with musical influences ranging across Synthwave/Italo Disco/EBM/Indie Dance and, always and forever, the key catalyst of this musical journey - Techno. The artists' appreciation for music cannot be condensed into genres thus the sound will remain ever-evolving. The main driver behind the song selection is the feeling, the place, the time, and the people instead of sticking to labeled genres.
