HELLKULES' first musical steps began in a small rural village near Münster, in the west of Germany. He started quite classically with recorder and trumpet, which were later replaced by an electric guitar and piano. Before the electronic compositions determined his life, the 90' years hip hop and indie rock scene had great influences on him. Although the love quickly slipped to techno in young adulthood, it is these early influences that still shape the hard and fast techno productions today, which usually contain some hip hop and rock elements. The key elements of his fast and driving productions are the hard kicks, the sharp harmonic rolling basslines that complement the melodic pads and clear percussions.
