Hauswife is a resident DJ at some of the best clubs and bars in Melbourne including New Guernica, Glamorama, Curious Bar, XE54 and ATET, and regularly plays at many other clubs and bars. She has opened for international DJs like Daria Kolosova, Baltra, Tornado Wallace, Cassettes for Kids and Henry Saiz. She has also been on lineups with Rebuke, Kettama, Pretty Girl, and Jamesjamesjames. Hauswife works as a sound engineer in film and television, and has a life-long musical background. Classically trained in piano and later playing jazz and salsa, she later studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston, majoring in Electronic Production and Sound Design. A deep understanding of harmony and theory play a large part in Hauswife's musical signature. Hauswife has stamped a signature sound with sets that are dynamic and edgy.
