The leading drum & bass collective in Iceland founded by Bjarni Ben, Croax and Nightshock. Hausar started streaming private house parties in 2012 that evolved into club nights at legendary venues like Faktorý, Dolly and Paloma. Long time Icelandic drum & bass veterans Suspect:B, Junglizt and Untitled joined later and after recording a few successful podcasts in 2013, Hausar were approached by the forward thinking underground radio station FM Xtra and asked to host a drum & bass show. The show later moved to KissFM before going on a hiatus in late 2018. Hausar have performed at festivals like Sónar Reykjavík, Iceland Airwaves and Secret Solstice and at clubs in Sweden, Denmark, Hungary, Thailand and Vietnam. Hausar play everything from liquid rollers to banging neurofunk with influence from artists such as Ivy Lab, Alix Perez, Friction, Andy C, Dom & Roland and Bad Company. Bjarni Ben is known for high energy bangers, double drops and back 2 back sets with Croax who mixes rolling neurofunk with headbanging dirty beats. Nightshock, also known as the Icelandic encyclopedia of drum & bass digs up the anthems before you hear about them and is competent mixing any style. Untitled was raised in 90s jungle and tech step but discovered his smooth side early on in liquid funk. Last but not least is Junglizt, not for the faint-hearted, known for unexpected u-turns and the darker side of drum & bass.
