As a young man in the Middle East, has.san sought out an underground music scene to quench his thirst for both escape and belonging. And while he found some progressive, boundary pushing, brave DJs, it would not be until he studied in the UK that he found the kind of music that would change his life and perspective forever. Far removed from the mostly electronic music he had consumed at home, he found dark, overwhelming, loud, floor moving techno music in some of the UK’s sexiest venues. It was on these dance floors that he learned how to let go, embrace, breathe, and be himself. Now, a recent immigrant to the U.S., Hassan looked to the techno community once again to find friendship, acceptance, and love. On the east coast, he found refuge in the music scene, and lost himself on the dance floors from nightfall till dawn, and then some. With the deepest appreciation for the music and a desire to give back, he now finds himself in the DJ booth, eager to foster an atmosphere that will allow you to explore the boundless realms of rhythmic euphoria. “Sometimes, when I'm on the dancefloor, I close my eyes and imagine that everything that plagues me is melting away by the waves of sound. Like a spiritual bath.”
