GUIDO started DJing seriously in 2004 @ C-MOOG (Byron Bay) and due to the fact that he was given residency in a venue that was graced by the likes of Roger Sanchez, Armand van Heldan, Stanton Warriors, Boogie Pimps, Krafty Kuts, A Skills, Mo Horizons, Plump DJ's, Cash Money, GT, Mark Dynamix and the list goes on (Honestly..it does), he was forced to quickly pick up his game. Fortunate enough to impress the higher powers, GUIDO supported Hip Hop DJ’s such as Harry Love, DJ Cash Money, Noodles, Staen 1, Nino Brown and DJ Craze. With some heavy influence from other DJ’s GUIDO started to mix House music and his deep passion evolved from party Hip Hop to Funky House (a natural progression). In a short period of time he was playing warm up sets every Saturday night pushing out tunes from Defected, OHM and Subliminal. This deep passion has led him to playing a set that incorporates all categories of house - Funky/Electro/Disco/Progressive/Tech/Minimal and a hint of Breaks. Having supported acts such as A Skills, Krafty Kutz, Boogie Pimps, Cash Money, Cut La Roc , JHz, UnaBombers, Stanton Warriors, Soul Of Man, Kid Kenobi, Godwin P(MOS Singapore), DJ Falcon, Poxy Music, Mark Dynamix, Nik Fish, Amber Savage, Bexta, Craig Obey, Derrik K, Jamie Kaye, Steve Lind, John Glover, Knife Machine, The Murderettes, Ben Morris, Stafford Brothers, Nancy Vice, Chardy, and Brenden Fing, GUIDO has embraced the party vibe of a club set and is gaining pace in the Gold Coast scene. This experience has led him play at various clubs around the Gold Coast including C-MOOG (Byron Bay), Buddah Bar(Byron Bay), Baja(Kirra Point), Calypso(Coolangatta), Liquid(Gold Coast), Berlin Bar(Gold Coast), QUEST(Gold Coast), Ruby Tramp(Gold Coast) The DRINK(Gold Coast) CRO BAR(Gold Coast) Ivory Hotel(Tweed). In the past year he has spread his wings a little to play at Brooklyn Hotel (Sydney) YU (Sydney) FOX Hotel (Brisbane) SunBar (Brisbane) In addition to clubs he has played Splendour In The Grass 2005 , Summer Field Dayz 07 and is a regular DJ for RED BULL events throughout QLD as his residencies @ BAJA, RUBY TRAMP(First Kiss) and IVORY HOTEL are making people take notice. GUIDO loves to play a set with a big room party feel. Obviously a DJ plays to get the crowd moving and thats how he likes to enjoy it. As we know DJ's are glorified rockstars and GUIDO really try his hardest to maintain that .....
