An exciting enthusiastic DJ and studying producer hailing from a small town outside Glasgow. Gub_by has been honing his skill set from the age of 15. Having been inspired by his first rave at age 17, Gub_by started his own club night in his local pub which gave him a taste for life on the plastic. From this, the love for dance music really blossomed and he was presented with his first set in Glasgow in 2019 as a solo artist under Amalgamates in the then called 'Amsterdam.' Gub_by's progession was steady from this until the Covid 19 outbreak happened. This was a terrible time for the rave scene, but during this off season a collective was formed by the name SEVEN8 SOUNDSYSTEM. As a founding member of the group, Gub_by burst into the Scottish rave scene with the 78 boys as they played some of the most prestegious venues in Scotland in their debut year of 2022. Spinning tracks in the likes of Subclub, SWG3 TV Studio, FLY Open Air, Otherlands and Pavillion Festival as well as Berkely Suite, Cabaret Volitaire, Club 69, Symbol and many more! Gub_by is a keen, enthusiastic, active member of the 78 collective but looks to push a solo career as he starts his production journey. He has recently been b2b across the country with Glasgow's hottest prospect DOMINIQUE as they look to make a name for themselves in the big pond. For sure an artist to look out for as his genre blending style of rave and dance music is certified to get any dance floor moving.
