Originally from Casablanca and raised in Tangier, GRED has been an explorer and digger since his earliest days. His musical journey began with a deep immersion into alternative rock and hip hop, heavily influenced by the skating culture of his youth. These early passions shaped his taste, setting the foundation for his future endeavors in the music world. By 2012, GRED had transitioned into the realm of DJing, inspired old school techno and by iconic figures such as Tiesto, Nicky Romero. Armed with Virtual DJ Pro, he began blending the beats of electronic music with the raw energy of his rock and metal roots. His influences are as diverse as they are profound, drawing from the psychedelic riffs of The Doors and Funkadelic’s Eddie Hazel to the heavy tones of Black Sabbath and the atmospheric depths of Massive Attack, Portishead, and Archive. In Istanbul, GRED rekindled his passion for electronic music, diving deep into melodic house, techno, indie dance, and hard techno. His return to Morocco marked a pivotal point in his career. As the artistic director of the renowned Monegros Club, he played a crucial role in curating and shaping the local music scene. This experience culminated in the launch of his own collective, Beatscape, in Tangier, where he championed both local talent and international artists, fostering a vibrant community of music lovers. GRED is not only a DJ but also a creative producer, creating tracks that span rominimal, breakbeat, and minimal house. He is also an accomplished musician, playing electric guitar with influences like the virtuoso Buckethead, and showcasing his vocal talents inspired by artists such as Paulo Nutini and The White Buffalo. In pursuit of honing his craft, GRED moved to London, a city synonymous with cutting-edge music production. Here, he continues to evolve as an artist, merging his extensive background in rock, blues, metal, and electronic music into a distinctive and captivating sound. GRED's journey is a testament to his relentless passion for music and his ability to transcend genres, creating an unforgettable auditory experience for his audience.
