Ajax born producer and DJ, GOVI, is making an impact on Toronto and the music world with his refined style. Having made a name for himself in the city from spinning, he quickly transitioned into independently releasing his own music in 2016. Since then, GOVI has dropped a plethora of remixes and a handful of original tracks, winning the ears of key taste makers, blogs, and new listeners in the process. He was recently featured as a model in several of OVO’s new apparel lines and completed a guest mix for OVO Sound Radio, where he was publicly co-signed as one of Oliver El Khatib’s favourite upcoming producers. GOVI also collaborated with BURNS recently and released an official remix for his single “Energy” featuring ASAP Rocky. He continues to display his versatility with his most recent acting role in Sabrina Claudio’s comeback music video “Holding the Gun”. Shortly after, he produced Sabrina Claudio’s critically acclaimed record “On My Shoulders” that created a lot of noise. With all of this being said, GOVI has no plan on slowing down anytime soon with his original record “Paradise” being featured in upcoming Netflix Original show “Skylines”.
