Shunto began his musical journey in 2016 when he moved to New York at the age of 18, where he encountered house music for the first time. In 2021, he made his DJ debut after being booked by Masanori Morita (STUDIO APARTMENT), a renowned figure in Japan’s house music scene. In 2023, following his marriage to Chona, the two formed a husband-and-wife duo under the name GOLDEN ROA. Currently, Shunto is producing original music under the mentorship of DRUNKEN KONG, one of the leading forces in today’s techno movement. In addition to his work as a producer and performer, Shunto is the founder, organizer, and resident DJ of SunGrace — a recurring event series that showcases his unique musical vision and cultivates a new cultural movement. Through his growing experience in the music industry and consistent efforts to build his own scene, Shunto continues to evolve as an artist. As he pushes forward, he stands at the forefront of a new generation, bringing fresh energy and innovation to the worlds of house and techno.
