DJ, Director , Dad Glenn Barnard aka " DJ Glenn Sidney " I started DJing with schoolmate Nick "b-bops" Brockhouse at age 14 we went halves on 2 belt driven soundlabs and possibly the oldest mixer that still worked on the planet. My brother Paul installed a fully functional studio including soundproofing in his ex council flat which soon become over a period of 8 years my musical and party spiritual home.....it was the resident after party venue from Peach at camden palace to Seven Sins at Honey Club Brighton. My house music bug started with the purchase of cds like the retrospective of house and introspective of house albums and ministry of sound annual 2 mixed by boy george and pete tong. This is what kicked it all off and i havent looked back since! my first vinyls included likes of liquid love "sweet harmony" blank and jones remix, dj Jean "the launch" yomanda "synth & strings" in the early trance days of mid 90's. Towards late 90's i increased my selection of big club, house music fluttering with progressive house and moving in on funky soulfull house music in more recent times. A trip to ibiza at the age of 16 increased my desire to dj more regularly. It started as a 1 week 18-30 holiday and eneded up a 6 week stint on the island, it almost sent me f***ing loopy! But changed me dramatically!
