GINEBRA TRACY RECORDINGS / BOOMBOX Barcelona, Spain A true activist and of barcelona’s clubbing, from 1995 she started exporting UK sounds like drum’n’bass, two step or nu breaks to a then small and young scene. From then she’s stablished herself as one of the major players of that scene both as a Dj, promoter and record label owner. As a Dj she’s placed in the best Spanish clubs and also at Sonar Festival in two occasions, what makes her one of the leading female dj’s on the scene. She created Palace Recordings alongside Kosmos, leading the second wave of Spanish electronic labels. Now with Kosmos and Funkmasta, she manages Tracy Recordings, the first spanish label dedicated to new club sounds like fidget house, crunk or electro bass. Tracy is nowadays an important name in the european scene Showcasing hot Spanish talent alongside big internacional names. Also she is the promoter and resident dj at Boombox alongside Kosmos and Geej, a club night that alter three years of succes, still is the place to be for followers of new and fresh club sounds.
