ggpete's sets are a love letter to dance floors of all cultures, blending underground club sounds from around the globe with a passion for the electronic spectrum. Inspired by the DJ and Bboy battles he would film and MC in his youth, ggpete excels at getting a crowd hyped, and takes the party on a journey cultivated by selections from his experiences around the world. A founder and resident DJ for Groove Global based in San Francisco, their F8 Nightclub residency creates a space for the emerging global club scene in the Bay Area, while their Mr. Mahjong's residency combines rap and rnb hits with deep cuts. His venue credits include 1015, The Midway, and Folsom Street Foundry in SF, as well as AREA15 in Las Vegas. He's also performed in festivals such as Les Play House (SF), Electric Island Festival (Guam), and &Friends Manila (Philippines).
