Originally born in New York & raised in the Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Gerard Nun developed a strong interest towards Electronic Music since his early years. Influenced by Daft Punk, Carl Cox & Sasha, Misstress Barbara & Erick Morillo; he decided to experiment with minor PC mixing software growing a deeper interest for the music. Gerard, from the get go differentiated himself from the masses by bringing a different sound to the dance floor by using is influence from the Dominican Republic. Always with an underground ear; and creating his own sound by the likes of Chris Liebing, Richie Hawtin, Loco Dice, Sven Vath and others. Since 2005, Gerard Nun has gained local & international support with gigs in venues at Santo Domingo, Bavaro & Orlando. Gerard is known to create a powerful dance floors by mixing Tech House, Minimal & Techno with his own sound at clubs, after parties, beach and pool parties, also earning the respect of everyone who he has shared decks with like Ray MD, Dorian Issac, Sutti, Chad Andrew, Lui Flores, Mr. O’Neil, Michael Rosa, Meen, D-Xtreme, Vinny Arbucci, Loco & Jam and many others.
