Italian DJ/Producer GENNARO (F/K/A Blackchild), is from a small island in the gulf of Naples called Ischia. As with most artists, GENNARO’s first musical influences began with his parents. Throughout his life GENNARO listened to his father‘s record collection of Hip-Hop, RnB, Disco and Old School House music. At the age of 18 he started producing Tech House music and immediately received support from the most respected artists in the underground scene. In 2019 GENNARO joined the Solid Grooves roster and has been on the rise ever since with releases on the imprints of big-league artists such as Cuttin’ Headz (The Martinez Brothers), Mindshake (Paco Osuna), Hot Creations (Jamie Jones), to name a few.
