Generator was born and raised in Toronto, when jungle and hip hop were at their peak popularity in the Canadian capitol. He began producing in high school using a basic midi set up with Cubas VST. He would record sessions onto mini disck and tape cassette eventually building a fully funtion Logic rig in his parents basement. Today he runs Philthtrax records and has releases on various Canadian labels such as Posse Up and Club Designs.
