Gbsn
Biografía
The nights in the North-East city have always been thriving so it’s no wonder that
the eclectic nature of its club scene helped to nurture GBSN’s transition from a
high grade multi-instrumentalist into one of the most promising DJ’s on the
circuit right now. Like the rest of his family music runs through him. From a young
age he took lessons in drumming and guitar, while he pushed his ability on the
piano culminating in a cultured sound from over 10 years of practice.
Before even reaching 19, GBSN had graced the decks at Cosmic Ballroom, World
Headquarters, Greys Club & Diamonds [Newcastle]. It was easy to see why his
bookings flourished as his opening spots got the party started everywhere he
went. Within a short space of time GBSN was being booked for the main stage at
Digital. His name on the bill alongside Sammy Virji was momentous on account of
GBSN’s own appreciation of the BASS HIVE 2021 Winner.
Aside from clubs, he has opened at Loosefest 2021 for Higgo, Dimension, Bkalava,
Sub Focus and DJ Fresh. This was a landmark moment not only in experience but
also for the advice and friendships forged with some major players in the UK
electronic music scene.
GBSN is currently a resident at Devotion at Leeds Warehouse with the same
ability to hone a decade of instrumentalism with a natural quality of reading a
crowd. The next steps in his journey are extremely exciting so don’t be surprised to
see his name on posters up and down the country for years to come. He has more
collaborations, productions and sets lined up so keep your eyes peeled for one of
the UK’s brightest sparks.
