GAZER (Gary Chen), is a DJ and video producer from Taipei. He grew up as part of 90's millennial generation and started per forming in 2013. He enjoys bass heavy Techno music with atmospheric, natural feelings. He is good at arranging dance music by combining organic and industrial sounds, creating crisp low frequency bass and a saturated sense of space, and bringing out a continuous flow of emotional changes with hypnotic rhythms. Since 2014, he has hosted more than 30 party events with various partners, and continues to cultivate electronic music culture in Taipei City. In 2020 this led to the creation of ANKR - a music and event label with an environmental point of view, hoping to explore the connection between sound and nat ure. In the beginning, ANKR hosted nature-themed electronic music events, inviting international artists such Deepbass from the UK. At the end of 2021, ANKR began a one-year outdoor Live Session project, inviting different music producers to explore various Taiwanese geographical locations. Each artist sampled ambient sounds and aboriginal traditional musical instruments, and recorded live performances of their original music in high-quality video. In 2022, ANKR released their first music compilation - Dong Luo.
