GALATIUS

GALATIUS is a Copenhagen-based DJ project shaped by a curiosity for people, places and sounds from around the world. Moving between progressive and melodic house, indie dance, funk and organic grooves, GALATIUS builds sets that are less about staying within one genre and more about creating a journey. Arabic melodies, South American percussion, African vocals, Asian textures and other global influences appear naturally alongside deep grooves, emotional melodies and playful moments. At the centre of the project is a simple idea: music can bring people closer. Each set is intended to feel open, warm and alive - a space where the crowd can let go, connect and move through different moods and cultures together. Travel also plays an important role in the evolving GALATIUS universe. Voices, field recordings and small memories collected from people and places are gradually woven into live sets, adding personal and sometimes unexpected details to the music. Rather than chasing a single defined sound, GALATIUS is about contrast and connection: intimate and euphoric, dreamy and rhythmic, familiar and surprising. The aim is always to leave people feeling that they have shared something together.
