Producer and DJ FÜÜLROD has combined his inspiration from the Detroit metal scene and Europe’s underground techno culture to forge a futuristic and heavy sound. A corruption of ‘Fuel Rod,’ the fuel used in nuclear reactors, FÜÜLROD is the sonic manifestation of all things industrial, heavy, and experimental. Drawing from his past lives as a metal drummer from Detroit and as a nuclear fusion researcher in Germany, FÜÜLROD’s unique combination of styles aims to ignite the darker side of every raver on the dancefloor. His most recent ‘Black Rider’ EP release on HEX TechnoMovement combines complex metal rhythms and Hard Techno in a way that is provocative and artistic, showcasing an authentic and raw techno metal creation. Supported by Lorenzo Raganzini and Paolo Ferrara across the globe, ‘Black Rider’ has brought FÜÜLROD to the forefront of the techno metal genre. With festivals and shows in Europe already on the horizon, 2023 is set to be an important year for FÜÜLROD.
