For almost 7 years, the two São Paulo nightlife fans gathered in a historic building in Campinas, the Club 88. Guided by their motto “Where music matters”, they gave their all on the dance floor until dawn. It was a place where only the unusual was likely. And it was there that Fael and Rica met. In 2020, the duo started their career, through AIMEC course and virtual performances for the club. In the last year, they toured in São Paulo, Campinas, Belo Horizonte, Curitiba, Fortaleza and Rio de Janeiro, performing more than 100 parties in important venues such as Caos, Jerome, Comuna, Deputa Madre, 1992, Dante, Destrave and Kevin. In addition, in 2022, they co-organized the itinerant event Campinas Toca Disco, in partnership with Caos club and Campinas City Hall, aiming the democratization of electronic music access. The free event reached more than 7000 people in Taquaral Concha Acustica in its first edition. Their musical style incorporates House, Disco and Acid Techno influenced by tropical sounds and world music, evoking the fantasy of Latin American nightlife when it meets the European sunset. Their queer and underground sound style incorporates mixes house nuances — such as Chicago, Garage, Jacking, Divas and Deep. In addition, they tend to flirt with Synthpop and dance, when influenced by tropical sounds of world music from around the globe. In a smooth, fun and dancing way, the duo evokes the fantasy of Latin American nightlife when it meets the European sunset. In the gas of Fugaz Although their musical genre transits between house and disco and their research is infused in vintage samples and exotic instruments, including powerful acapellas: an invitation to the public to get to know specific niche aspects, which under Fugaz's gaze become accessible and danceable. “We create sets that make people feel good and that bring a sensuality to the dance floor,” commented Rica. “For me, DJing is exchanging energy with the audience. There is an emotional dialogue right there.” Fael added. With a fashion style that transitions between sexy clubber and dopamine fashion, their shows reach peaks of climax. Their songs embark the audience on this new wave: an electric sound tsunami that leads to fleeting and happy destinations.
