The name FUAM is derived from the Irish word for sound, which translates to ‘Fuaim’. FUAM takes inspiration from both the past and the present and in particular from producers such as Dax J, Hioll and Remco Beekwilder to name a few. FUAM has previous releases on some notable labels including Ismus Berlin, Motz Berlin, Mainmise Records and a recent EP release on COUP. In addition, FUAM has co-founded Dublin based collective Hybrid Events from which they promote both local and international artists in an evolving Irish techno scene.
