Growing up in London, DJ Friendzy originally started life as a Garage DJ from the age of 12 years old and then evolved into an MC, having regular sets on pirate radio stations such as Freek Fm, Y2K, Raw Fm and Xtreme Fm. As the Garage scene started to drift away and Grime music became more popular in London, the bouncy, fast and upbeat style of his MC'ing didn't quite fit to the Grime genre therefore rather than changing his style to match this new style music he decided it was time to hang up the Mic and focus on his family life and professional career. Always having a strong interest in music he decided to purchase a Pioneer all-in-one DJ system back in 2020 to get back into DJ'ing which was his original love, and ever since has since been working on finding a unique sound by searching for underground House tracks not played by many other DJ's in order to showcase a wider range and variety with the sound he offers while blending in such a way which keeps the music flowing as each track transitions to the next. DJ Friendzy has played in lots of underground clubs over the past few years, with his biggest support being for DJ Hitty opening up 'Hitty X-Events' at both the Outernet and Village Underground which were sell out events.
