At Freigeist’s, only vinyls are allowed in the booth. This young Berlin-Lichtenberg-based artist is a connoisseur of the soundscapes that shaped electronic music during the 1990s and 2000s. With a keen ear for house and techno rhythms, Freigeist's sets wander from crisp breaks to immersive four-to-the-floors, reflecting his insatiable appetite for sounds that uplift, inspire and make one move. Freigeist's passion for vinyl runs deep, having eschewed all digital formats half a decade ago. He believes that the tactile experience of vinyl adds an extra dimension to his performances, connecting him with the music in a unique way. Behind the decks, Freigeist weaves together playful beats from past eras blended with the freshest grooves of today, creating a unique time travel techno experience that transports the listener on a sonic journey through the ages. Freigeist is co-founder and resident of the Berlin-based group INTRA. Their events showcase the work of international and local passionate talents who use their craft to explore new horizons and to rethink the ways in which we experience music and club culture. The collective aims to create a space where artists and music lovers can come together to discover new sounds and push creative boundaries.
