Whether he’s spinning records in a moody wine bar or throwing a party until the early hours, Freddy Gardens draws inspiration from emerging local artists and household names to deliver disco, house and techno-driven grooves. Coming from a musically trained background, Freddy naturally developed a taste for dance music over the years. After moving from his hometown Wagga Wagga, he soon found his feet and his sound by playing wax around Melbourne/Naarm in 2016. Since then, Freddy’s record collection has grown and his sound has evolved. He focuses on track selection within a broad range of genres, combining old and new sounds, from Balearic to techno and everything in between. Throughout his journey, Freddy has collaborated with artists and hosted parties including Primer, Porcelain Plates, and more recently, Proto-Exotica. Today, he remains active in supporting the music community, which fuels his creativity and allows him to continuously develop as a musician.
