Fractal Void

Biografía

Fractal Void is a conceptual duo project based in Düsseldorf, Germany. Their music unfolds at the confluence of abstract electronics, experimental sound, and contemporary composition, forming emotional landscapes charged with unsettled futuristic tension. Fractal Void sculpts an auditory world that moves from contemplative atmospheres to overgrown, energetic polyrhythms and expansive deconstruction. During their live sets, Fractal Void create vertical reflections by processing sounds through software and interaction with real instruments in every unique musical performance like the Chinese art form Dishu. Their work was released on acclaimed labels like Intergalactic Research Institute For Sound and Das Werk. The persons behind Fractal Void: Back in 2008, their musical journey began with winning a Spectrasonics competition using field recording of a locker door, that was implemented as a bass synth. Rooted in solid techno, her sets shape a sound both relentless and introspective — stripped to the bone yet resonant with emotional gravity, traversing the full spectrum of techno, from arpeggiated ambient passages to rugged, high-impact rhythms made for concrete floors and dim lights. Her debut solo album Loveletter was released in March 2026 via About Repetition, featuring remixes by Irakli and LADA (Dasha Rush & Lars Hemmerling). She also co-founded the art association About Repetition.
