Formella has always been immersed in some form of music, starting by being taught piano at the age of 5 and eventually the sideflute when she got older. The obsession to have an extensive and eclectic collection of music can be traced back to her early days before DJing was ever a possibility. It wasn’t until she moved to Berlin, and found her way into the first ever group of Femme Bass Mafia mentees in 2021 that she was able to showcase her collection. Since then she has played all around most of the best clubs in Berlin, and elsewhere including; Prague, Belgium, Bristol and Portugal. Specialising in UK influenced breaks and bass, but constantly exploring different frequencies depending on the season, the place, the crowd, etc. Fun and energetic could be 2 words to describe a Formella set.
