Fontaine
Biografía
Fontaine, born and raised in a small town in France, always felt like he didn't fit in. He started music at age seven playing guitar patterns from Metallica, Led Zeppelin and others, that probably had an impact on his today's music. Around his 20s, seeking to find his true self, he embarked on a journey to explore Berlin and Eastern Europe, where he discovered his passion for techno music. The city's vibrant nightlife and underground club scene drew him in, and he became a regular at the most iconic venues. It was during these experiences where Fontaine experienced meditative trance while dancing, surrounded by music and people who embraced freedom, love, and self-expression.
A life-changing moment occurred for Fontaine during a Mannequin Records set on Panorama Bar where the music, lights, and energy all came together, creating a moment that left a lasting impact on him. His music is a reflection of his experiences in Berlin, festivals and hidden hippie places in Europe, blending elements of techno, house, psy and acid to create a unique sound. Fontaine's interest in psychedelics and anarchist position also play a role in his music, incorporating a message of liberation, rebellion, and rejection of the state. With each new release, Fontaine pushes the boundaries of electronic music, creating music that is not just about dancing but about expressing oneself and fighting for freedom.
